Photobox free prints ended on 30 June 2024.
If you searched “Photobox free prints” or “Photobox 50 free prints”, the short answer is that the offer is gone and has not come back. Here is what Photobox says, what it charges now, and where the free prints went.
Offer ended
Photobox’s own words: “The last date to redeem your 50 free prints was 30 June 2024. We are not directly replacing the Free Prints offer with a new one … We cannot confirm as yet if it will be back.”
What happened
For years Photobox gave new app users 50 free 6x4 prints, and a lot of “free prints UK” articles, deal threads and old emails still point at it. In 2024 Photobox reviewed the offer and withdrew it, with 30 June 2024 as the final redemption date. It has been over two years. Any page that still promises Photobox free prints is out of date, including some that rank well.
What Photobox charges now

| 6x4" premium print | 18p | 10% off 10–49 prints, 20% off 50+, applied automatically |
| 7x5" large premium | 23p | |
| 8x6" enlargement | 99p | |
| Delivery | Standard £3.99 · Fast Tracked £4.99 · Express £5.99 | |
So 50 Photobox 6x4s today are about £7.20 in prints plus £3.99 postage — £11.19. The same 50 from the Snapfish UK app are £1.49–£4.49 all in. See the live comparison.
Where to get free prints instead
- Snapfish UK app — the closest replacement. 50 free standard prints a month for 12 months, delivery £1.49–£4.49, app only, credit expires monthly.
- FreePrints — 45 free 6x4s a month with no end date, delivery £1.49–£3.99 or free collection in 13 towns.
- Nobody else. Bonusprint (also owned by Photobox), Tesco, ASDA and Boots are paid printing. Tesco and ASDA collect for free, but the print is 9p–75p each.
“FreePrints Photobox” — are they the same?
No, and the confusion is common. FreePrints is an app by PlanetArt. Photobox is a UK lab that also owns Bonusprint. FreePrints still gives prints away; Photobox does not. If you had a Photobox account with unused free prints, they expired in June 2024 and cannot be moved to FreePrints.

Questions
Does Photobox still do free prints?
No. Photobox says the last date to redeem its 50 free prints was 30 June 2024, and that it is not directly replacing the offer. Photobox still sells paid prints, books and gifts with regular discounts.
How do I get 50 free prints from Photobox?
You cannot any more. The 50 free prints credit was removed in June 2024. For a live 50-a-month offer, use the Snapfish UK app; for 45 a month, use FreePrints.
Is FreePrints the same as Photobox?
No. FreePrints is a PlanetArt app that still gives 45 free 6x4s a month. Photobox is a separate UK lab (which also owns Bonusprint) and no longer has a free-print offer.
What does Photobox charge for prints now?
At list price a 6x4 is 18p, a 7x5 23p and an 8x6 enlargement 99p, with 10% off at 10–49 prints and 20% off at 50+. Standard delivery is £3.99, fast-tracked £4.99, express £5.99.
Will Photobox bring free prints back?
Photobox’s own FAQ says it “cannot confirm as yet if it will be back”. We check the offer page on every snapshot and will post a dated note if it changes.
