How much is postage on free prints?

In the UK, free prints means the 6x4 is free. Postage is the part you pay. This is the question Search Console is already sending here.

FreePrints postage

FreePrints is the clear one: standard delivery starts at £1.49 and the app says it never goes above £3.99, no matter how many free 6x4s you add. Some listed UK collection points drop that fee to zero.

Snapfish postage

Snapfish UK still gives 50 free standard prints a month in the app, and it still charges delivery on that order. There is no published forever-cap like FreePrints. Read the app total. Do not use snapfish.co.uk if you want the free credit — the website does not apply it.

Free prints with free delivery: does it exist?

Not as a standing offer from any UK lab. Both live apps charge postage on the free 6x4s. The only way to pay nothing at all is FreePrints’ own collection points — Newton Abbot, Plymouth, Suffolk, Essex, Eastbourne, Cardiff, Powys, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Peterborough, Lincoln, Bolton, York and Harrogate — where a pickup code at checkout removes the delivery charge. That list is what FreePrints published on 7 October 2026; Bitteswell is no longer on it. Snapfish occasionally runs a free-delivery promo code on paid orders, but it has not applied to the free-credit order in any check we have made.

If you are near none of those towns, the honest floor is £1.49 (FreePrints, small order) or £1.49 (Snapfish, 2nd class). Two apps, 95 free prints, roughly £3–£8.50 in postage a month depending on how full the orders are.

When “free collect” is not free prints

Tesco, ASDA and Boots will collect a packet for nothing. You still pay per print. That answers a different search: cheap paper today, not postage on free prints.

Work it out for your order

The photo print price comparison adds postage to the print price for every lab, for the size and quantity you actually want.

Photobox

Photobox free prints ended on 30 June 2024, so there is no free-print postage figure to quote. Paid Photobox orders have their own delivery line.
