How much does it cost to print photos at Tesco?
From 9p a print if you order 500 and wait five days, to 75p if you want a handful in 20 minutes. Here is the full Tesco Photo price table, how to order, and what has happened to tescophoto.com.

Delivery and collection
- Click & Collect: free, at 130+ Max Spielmann shops inside Tesco and 500+ kiosks. 20 minutes for standard sizes, about an hour for 10x8 and A-sizes.
- Home delivery: photo prints from £1.99; standard delivery £4.99 for most items; next working day £7.99 if ordered before 12pm Monday–Friday.
- Instant prints: iSnaps kiosks in 500+ Tesco stores print straight from your phone in minutes. Kiosk pricing is the fast-lane rate.

Choose Photo Prints and a size
6x4 is the cheapest. Pick glossy (from 9p) or lustre (from 14p).

Upload from phone or computer
Camera roll, files or cloud storage. The editor warns if a photo is too low-resolution for the size.

Pick 20-minute or 5-day
20-minute Click & Collect costs more per print (60p–75p for 6x4). The 5-day service uses the cheap table (65p down to 9p).

Choose your Tesco
Click & Collect is free at 600+ Tesco shops and kiosks. Home delivery is from £1.99 for prints.

Prints are ready in about 20 minutes on the fast lane, or when the 5-day order lands in store. Bring the order email.
Is Tesco cheap?
For a big batch, yes: 500 6x4s at 9p is £45 with free collect, and nothing else in the UK is close. For a small batch, no: 20 prints on the fast lane is £15, when the FreePrints app would post 45 for £3.99 and the Snapfish UK app 50 for £1.49–£4.49. The crossover is around 200 prints, where Tesco’s 15p rate starts to beat paying postage twice. Put your own number into the price comparison.
Tesco vs ASDA vs Boots
ASDA Photo is the same Max Spielmann lab with the same table, so pick the store you visit. Boots prints on Fuji paper “from 10p” with a base charge for the first ten and 3–5 day delivery; it is the choice for a chemist-counter brand and in-store CEWE stations, not for price.

Questions
How much does it cost to print photos at Tesco?
A 6x4 print is 65p if you order 1–25 on the 5-day service, falling to 60p (26+), 55p (51+), 40p (100+), 15p (200+) and 9p (500+). On 20-minute Click & Collect a 6x4 is 75p for 1–25, 70p for 26–50 and 60p for 51+. Collect is free; home delivery from £1.99.
Does Tesco do free prints?
No. Tesco Photo has no free-print allowance. Click & Collect is free, but every print has a price. For genuinely free prints, use FreePrints (45 a month) or the Snapfish UK app (50 a month) and pay postage.
What happened to tescophoto.com?
It currently shows a “temporarily unavailable” notice and sends you to maxphoto.co.uk/tesco-photo-printing. Max Spielmann says products, prices and Tesco collection are unchanged, existing orders are being fulfilled, and Tesco print credits carry over if you sign in with the same email.
How do Tesco instant prints work?
Over 500 Tesco stores have iSnaps self-service kiosks. Connect your phone (cable, wifi or app), pick photos, pay at the kiosk and the prints come out in minutes. The kiosk price is the fast-lane price, not the 9p bulk rate.
Is Tesco cheaper than ASDA for photo prints?
They are the same price to the penny, because both photo services are run by Max Spielmann. Choose whichever store you are going to anyway.
