Tesco Photo, run with Max Spielmann, is the supermarket answer to free printing: the collect step is free, the print is cheap, and it is not a monthly credit.

Tesco photo centres and Max Spielmann counters sit inside a large number of UK stores, with kiosks and booths on top. The website has also lived at maxphoto.co.uk. The offer to understand is speed versus price, not free prints.
20-minute click and collect is the hook. Prints are ready in about 20 minutes in opening hours, longer for big orders or sizes over 10x8. Collect is free. The per-print price on that fast lane is higher than the slow lane.
Home delivery or a 5-day collect is where Tesco quotes prints from 9p. That is the number to compare with FreePrints postage. If you want 200 holiday pictures and you will be in Tesco anyway, the 9p route can beat an app that is “free” plus £1.49–£3.99 postage.
It is the wrong service if you specifically want free prints UK with a zero unit price. It is the right service if you want cheap paper today without installing another photo app.
