What size is a 6x4 free print?
Published .
Almost every free prints UK deal is a 6x4. That is a six-by-four inch print, also sold as 15x10cm, and it is the size UK pocket albums already expect.
FreePrints gives the free allowance as 6x4 (15x10cm) only. Extra sizes — 5x5, 7x5, 8x6, 10x8 and larger — are paid. Snapfish’s free app credit is for standard 6x4 or 5.3x4 prints, not collages or gifts.
A 6x4 is slightly wider than a credit card is long, and it sits in the cheap plastic frames sold in Tesco and Boots. If a phone photo is a tall portrait, crop it in the app before you spend the free credit, or the lab will trim faces at the edge.
Supermarket 6x4s from Tesco, ASDA or Boots are the same physical size. They are just not free. The “6x4 free print size” search is really two questions: what size is it, and which app still gives that size away. Size: 6 by 4 inches. Apps: FreePrints and Snapfish UK.
